This site is for family, friends, and colleagues of Avner Magen. Avner died in a climbing accident on May 29, 2010, in Denali National Park, Alaska.
Avner was a beloved and devoted father, husband and son; a terrifically warm, funny, and energetic person; a brilliant and creative researcher; and a wonderful friend and colleague. We will always remember his zest for life, his devotion to family, and his very funny dry wit and humour. Avner leaves behind his wife Ayelet and three young children. We miss him so much.
